With the AI Director 2.0, L4D’s dynamic gameplay is taken to the next level by giving the Director the ability to procedurally change weather effects, world objects, and pathways in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match the players’ performance. The result is a unique game session custom fitted to provide a satisfying and uniquely challenging experience each time the game is played. Whenever they played Donkey Kong Country on A*mazing I would reach for the SNES controller and pretend to play along. I would get cranky and yell at the tv if they forget to slap the ground/palm trees for the ten extra bananas. Also, I would punch the lounge chair if they didn’t jump for the red balloon at the end of the cave. I was the shit at Donkey Kong Country and ain’t no dumb fuck from Ferny Grove State School was going to outplay me.
